Basilisk Venom
Basilisk Venom
Harvested by the bravest in the land, the basilisk has to be distracted with a golden egg laid only by a gander under a full moon. Only then may the bravest of knights lunge forward with impeccable timing to harvest a drop of venom from this formidable beast’s tongue before it tears into the offered egg. The skeletal hand hanging from the neck of the bottle is modeled on the hand of the apothecary assistant who opened the last bottle we had of this in error.
Beware : Basilisk Venom is so potent that this bottle can only be resealed by an anointed knight in full protective gear.
Our decorative potions are made with distilled water with 10% glycerine to ensure no mould growth. They are coloured with mica powder and food standard dye. They are sealed with wax. They are not designed to be opened, and are for decorative purposes only.
Regularly shaking the potions will prevent any mica powder sticking to the bottle after long periods of time.
