Our Future Plans - 2025
While the best way to keep updated with everything we're doing is to join our mailing list (at the bottom of the page!) we'd like to share our plans for 2025, for the shop, new products, education initiatives and work we're doing for the planet.
Helping hedgehogs
This year we donated 12 handmade hedgehog houses, donated 42kg of hedgehog food and orchestrated a community clear up of the local hedgerows! We also donated two handmade planters to community gardens, and learned how to grow our own flowers, herbs and food, something we're going to expand much more in 2025, because next up is....
A butterfly garden !
A lot of our products use dried herbs and flowers, and at the moment we're still buying them in. Using what we learned in 2024, we have a lofty goal of growing, harvesting and drying the vast majority of our own flowers and plants. Not only does this reduce our carbon footprint, and allow us to make your goods with better and stronger intentions, but it's going to create an amazing home for butterflies bees and birds!
Friends of the forest
We're going to continue our work with local wildlife charities, and hope to deepen our ties, we've also got upcoming plans for - World Wetlands Day, Garden Wildlife Week, World Ocean's Day, National Marine Week, National Badger Day, International Day of Forests, National Gardening Week AND World Environment Day. Whew! We've got a busy calendar - don't forget to join our mailing list to see what we get up to !
More shops?!
We're amazed at the love The Ravenwood has received so far, and we're only just getting started. Our product ranges will be expanding as we grow, and that means more shops, shopkeepers, collections and stories are joining The Ravenwood.
The adventure has just begun ! Please remember to sign up to our mailing list so you don't miss out on the adventure!
Educational Resources
At The Ravenwood, we're very fortunate to have had access to education, and have become experts in our fields. As the world becomes more turbulent, we decided that the privilege of education is one that should be shared freely.
We'll be providing free educational resources on our blog and our site, about our natural world, cultural folklore, crafting advice and every day sustainability skills like gardening.
We're hoping to greatly extend our free educational resources in 2025!
